Private Piano Instruction ~ Age 4 and Up
Traditional Piano Instruction: Ideal for students ages 4-12. Emphasis is on technique, sight-reading and repertoire. The repertoire concentrates on classical literature but may also include contemporary pieces. Secondary emphasis will be on theory, ear training and harmonization.
This course includes 6 thirty minute private lessons, all materials and a piano party! $180.00
Suzuki Instruction: Suzuki philosophy believes that young children learn piano as they do language. They listen to the music many times and imitate its sounds. The teacher guides the child in producing sounds. Emphasis is on listening, developing tonal memory, repertoire and technique. After the child has adequate coordination at the piano, sight-reading and theory concepts are introduced.
Lesson Times: Summer lessons are held Monday through Thursday,
9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Summer Session is July 19 through August 28
